This intermediate acting class will introduce participants to the basics of scene study and characterization with a focus on script analysis, blocking and making informed physical, vocal and emotional character choices. Participants will develop an understanding of identifying beats, objectives, obstacles, tactics and other language of the stage as they work in two to three-person scenes. Participants will be encouraged to select favorite plays for monologues and scenes to work on in class. Our class goal will be to memorize and present the studied scenes for family and friends during the final class.
(No Class on Wednesday, Nov. 23)
